BodyBuilder End Effectors - Modular End Effector System

The BodyBuilder Modular End Effector System was designed for final assembly and material handling applications where a robust, yet easy-to-use system was needed. The patented 'crash recovery' method allows the end user to quickly rebuild their structure, reducing downtime in the event of an automation collision. DE-STA-CO's comprehensive family of automation adapters, structural and transition members allow the user to fully customize their design from off-the-shelf components.

Octagonal Aluminum Booms

The octagonal structure is available in four sizes: 30mm, 45mm, 60mm, and 90mm. Cross-webbed structure maximizes on strength to reduce overall weight, deflection and twist. Integrated T-slots allow accessories to be mounted, moved and repositioned quickly and easily.

Mid-Mounts (RMM, BM1 & RM4)

The Mid-mount is highly engineered, robust structural mounting platform.  It can be used as a direct robot interface, providing robust clamping of each extrusion for maximum stability. Standard robot interface patterns are provided. The plate can also be left blank.

Transition Brackets and Blocks

Transition brackets and blocks are modular and can be reused, reconfigured, or interchanged between alternately-sized structural products. These components contain the mating octagon form to provide a firm, non-slipping positive grip on structural members. Some components have both octagon and round features to allow 'hybrid' end effectors to be constructed in any combination of BodyBuilder, Round Tooling and SpiderGrip.

Accessory Brackets and Gripper Mounts

Removable grip mount lock allows gripper to be adjusted while continuing to hold it in place. Swivel ball allows for ±25° adjustment of swivel rotation.
