Operations at Tulsa Winch, Inc. are such that they are not high production but are cost-sensitive. Replacing the strap clamps was high priority because of the slow set-up and cycle times. Ergonomic issues were such that employees would strain their shoulders when they used large wrenches to tighten strap clamps. They also needed a repeatable clamp pivot point for ease of clamping.

Tulsa Winch replaced strap clamps with off-the-shelf T600-4 T-Slot clamps. This clearly pays for itself with the timesaving ability of the toggle clamp and off-the-shelf solution.

| Result: |
Using the T600-4 off-the-shelf clamps instead of the fasteners has increased productivity and provided a 50% savings in setup. Ergonomic issues have been eliminated.
