A manufacturer of hydraulic cartridge valves needed a quick and reliable means of checking the valve sleeve with a G / NG gauge. The repetitive motion required for manual checking was a hazard to the employees and production requirement was too high (45 pcs. per minute) for manual checking.

| Solution: |
Robohand RP-10 Double Wedge Parallel gripper is used on an electro servo actuator to hold and position the G / NG gauge. Because of the precision of the gripper and the sealed design, the customer selected the RP-10.

| Result: |
Ergonomic hazards were eliminated with the automated unit. The very high production rate of 45 pieces per minute was attained. The scrape rate is now in acceptable limits. With this RP-10 upgrade, the customer will be producing at a high level of performance with a high degree of reliability in his parts.
