Oberursel, Germany (September 10, 2019) – Destaco, the industry’s leading global supplier of high-performance automation, workholding and remotehandling solutions, will be demonstrating the versatility of its smart clamps and customized solutions in Booth No. 7110 in Hall 7 at this year’s Motek 2019 international trade fair, which will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from Oct. 7 – 10.

“Motek is a can’t-miss trade show for Destaco,” said Stefan Eggers, Vice President, Global Sales & Service for Destaco. “As such, this is the perfect venue for us to highlight the capabilities of our innovative and versatile new electric clamps, as well as the customized solutions we can create for our end-user customers.”

Destaco’s new smart clamps, which are powered by servomotors, include a connection, pivot point and jaw capacity identical to those of pneumatic clamps. Compared to mechanical clamping, however, the smart clamp feature a self-locking latch and provide consistent clamping torque at any position over the full rotation of the clamp.

In addition, Destaco will showcase a selection of products in its extensive automation range. This comprehensive portfolio of products is unmatched in the market. Attendees will also be able to review an array of customized solutions that were developed for special applications and specific industries, which indicate how this product range also makes optimal processes possible for niche markets.

Destaco also sets a new standard by offering the lightest, most compact and most precise servo positioners on the market. The small and lightweight servo positioners have outstanding rated torques, which makes them ideal for use in applications with high inertial loads.

Destaco customers now also have the option of using its Xpress Program, which offers a line of automation products that can be delivered quick and reliably. This allows pneumatic parallel grippers and swivel units, as well as automatic tool changers, to reach customers within three business days.

At Motek 2019, approximately 1,000 exhibiting designers, users and production managers are expected to occupy a hall space of 63,000 square meters.
