CHALLENGE
A glass bottling company had a need to increase accuracy and efficiency when packaging glass bottles in their facility. The path for the application needed both linear and rotary movement to complete the process.
SOLUTION
Destaco’s engineering team studied the application goals, and easily customized Destaco’s modular, precision link conveyor into a table top design with a 3200 meter length. For smooth station-to-station indexing, Destaco’s Camco 512RA Rotary Index Drive was incorporated due to its compact design that requires minimum floor space.
RESULTS
The customer’s bottlepackaging application with the new conveyor and indexer was performing perfectly, and the customer has committed to purchasing 10 more units for future processing improvements.
